Leather Long Stitch Journal Workshop

Learn to make your own leather journal on our informal and relaxed workshop.  

The workshop last for 4 hours and costs £40.  All materials & tuition is included.

This 4 hour workshop is fun, informal and friendly and suitable for complete beginners. You will make a long stitch leather journal using upcycled leather. No previous leather work experience is required.

You will start by making an A5 book - 'signatures' - from loose paper. Following this, you will learn how to:

Make a template and use an awl
Cut your leather
Make holes in the leather
Learn the long stitch sewing technique
Hand stitch a leather tie

Once you have finished your A5 journal, you will make a start on a pocket size journal which you can complete at home.

All materials and tuition is included.   Our class sizes are kept small and informal, so you can relax and enjoy yourself.
